Intimately Alive: Cultivating Intimate Awareness With Self and Others
With Michael Faith and Joseph Machado
Through Yoga, Dance, Meditation, Ritual, and Discussion participants will be lovingly challenged to explore and penetrate the barriers and internal resistance to intimacy within themselves and in relationship with others. Through the lens of open hearted awareness and love participants will explore the ways in which they contract and expand; push, pull and reach; attract and repulse, and give and receive in each of these areas. Be prepared to explore beyond buzzwords and stretch into areas of the unknown in a safe and welcoming space.
MORE DETAILS
In context to the workshop, Intimately Alive, we will work with how relationships to self and others have shaped us. By making our meditation practice a moving practice we will till the fertile soil of the unconscious and conscious giving us the ability to deepen our awareness to relationship situations as they arise.

Spanda Sahaja Yoga - Practice and Play
Spanda is a Sanskrit term for the subtle creative pulse of the
universe as it manifests into the dynamism of living form. Spanda can
be translated to mean vibration, movement, or motion, referring to
waves of activity issuing forth from an unseen Source of spontaneous
expression. Sahaja means spontaneous natural joy of a divine nature.
This practice combining these two naturally arising energies takes us
to a playful, vibrant, and ecstatic expression of movement within our
practice. Bring your passion for creativity, your desire to open and
to be awakened to the sacred pulse within.
